The amazing proposal
I don’t even know where to start with this one. I never would have imagined. Oh i was completely unaware of any planning…
Heartbeat and i got engaged in front of a congregation of about 800 people AND on my birthday. It was beautiful and a total surprise for me. When the service was almost over, a friend of ours stood and announced that it was the birthday of one of us and that she needed to go to the podium. I suddenly see my sister coming from one end of the church with a cake in her hands. (Can’t believe she was in on it!) Then heartbeat stands and comes to the front and takes the mic. He wishes me a happy birthday and says how lovely it has been for him to have me in his life then he goes down on one knee, gets out a ring and says
“In front of God and infront of all this people in the congregation, I wanna ask you B (pause), Will you marry me?
By now, the whole church is screaming. I can barely hear myself speak when i answer yes.
